A cot and high chair are available if required - there is a fence between the house and the burn.
Washing machine and tumble drier.
Bring your bikes and kayaks - secure storage is available.
Well behaved dogs are welcome - please bring own bed!
The house is a “No smoking” zone.
What’s Included?
All linen is supplied including towels and dish towels.
Electricity and central heating included plus basket of fuel for stove - extra available at village stores if required.
Internet access (reasonable usage).
The kitchen will be equipped with some essentials including washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, cooking oil, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt, pepper and some spices etc.
Daily needs are well catered for in the village shop and “everything else” can be found in the old post office store.
Your highland holiday house is available for 7 nights from Friday 4pm to Friday 10am.
(Friday changeovers avoid the Saturday queues at the ferry).
The house should be left clean and tidy - excessive cleaning will be charged for.
Summer:
June to September inclusive
7 night bookings only
£620.00 for 6 people (less than £15 per person per night!).
Special Offer - September 2010 bookings - £400 per week
Rest of Year:
October to May –
3 nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday night - leave 10am Monday
4 nights -Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - leave 10am Friday
£250.00 for either 3 or 4 nights.
7 nights - Friday to Friday - £400.00
(Ask for special rates for less than 6 people, October to May only)
Christmas/ New Year 2010/2011
Christmas booking 7 nights only - Monday 21st December to Monday 27th December
New year booking 7 nights only - Monday 27th December to Monday 3rd January 2010
£620.00 for 6 people
25% deposit required to secure your booking ( non-refundable)
Balance payable 8 weeks before arrival.
Payments can be made using PayPal or by cheque posted to Eileen Cochrane, Kaikoura, Ardnastang, Strontian PH36 4HY.
You are recommended to take insurance to protect your payment in the event of cancellation.
If notice of Cancellation is given not later than 8 Weeks before your Holiday Date, you will not be liable to pay the outstanding balance, but you will lose your Deposit, unless you book an alternative week. However if you cancel your Holiday within 8 Weeks you will be liable to pay the balance unless we receive an alternative booking from elsewhere.
Terms and Conditions
1. The owners will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the guests’ goods or personal belongings kept at the accommodation.
2 .The guest is responsible for taking all reasonable care of the house and its contents.
3. The guest must leave the house and all its contents clean and tidy at the end of the stay and return it in the same state that it was in on arrival.
4. The guest will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury he/she may cause at the Premises.
5. If any items are missing or damaged, the guest will pay for the reasonable costs of replacing or repairing the missing or damaged items on departure.
6. In the event that the house has been left in an unfit state, the guest will be required to pay an excess cleaning charge to cover additional housekeeping hours
