Welcome to Tigh an Uillt (House by the Burn)
|
*** Special Offer - June and September 2010 bookings - £400 per week ***
Strontian was an 18th century mining town which gave its name to the element strontium which was discovered in the lead mines in the hills behind the house. Of the many walking tracks around the village one starts right next to Tigh an Uillt and goes to Loch Shiel past the mines in the hills!
